PTSA Basket Raffle & Band Concert

Mark your calendars for Tuesday December 15th at 7:00 p.m.!! The PTSA will hold a brief business meeting prior to the Lincolnton Middle School Band Concert . This is an exciting time for our students and we invite every parent, friend and community member to come out and support this talented group of students.

The PTSA will also hold a Basket Raffle. Each academic team at LMS was given a theme and students brought in donations to create some outstanding baskets. Tickets are available for sale up until 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday December 15th.

$1 per Ticket
$10 = 12 Tickets
$20 = 23 Tickets

Tickets may be purchased and placed in the basket drawing of your choice. There are eight different themed baskets to choose from.

Just a reminder that we will be holding a PTSA Meeting tonight in the Media Center at 7:00 p.m. We will have a very brief PTSA business meeting followed by a special presentation "It All Begins in Middle School". Our guest speakers, Mr. Tony Worley, Principal of Lincolnton High School and Ms. Teresa Hawley, Director of Secondary Education will provide insight and guidance on how the middle school years directly relate to high school and the success of our students. Please don't miss this opportunity to hear some very pertinent information regarding middle school education and tips on what you can do to ensure your childs success.

Welcome to the LMSPTSA Blog

This blog will be a tool to quickly and effectively communicate with parents, teachers and students of Lincolnton Middle School. The PTSA is very excited to be starting a new school year. We have been brainstorming to come up with some great ideas that will truly promote the well being of Lincolnton Middle School and its students.

Lincolnton Middle School PTSA is a collaborative effort between parents, teachers and students in order to:

• Facilitate parent and family involvement in the academic and social life of students
• Support communication between the home, school and community
• Engage parents, teachers and students as active participants in PTSA
• Contribute to creating a safe and nurturing school community
• Support and celebrate the academic achievement of students
• Support and celebrate faculty and staff
• Raise adequate funds to support the goals of the PTSA
